Roland's Ride Charity Event
in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association

Roland’s Ride is a group of charity cycle rides taking place on Sunday June 7th 2026 starting from Darlington Mowden Park R.F.C. The Arena, Neasham Road, Darlington, Durham, DL2 1DL.

The Rides

Novice Ride 25k

Novice Ride – This 25 km route is ideal for families and beginners. It’s mostly flat, with one steep downhill section. While much of the ride uses traffic-free paths, over half is on public roads. There are no major climbs.

Social Ride – This will be approx. 50km in length and is designed primarily for the less experienced rider or those who are seeking a moderately challenging day out.

Elite Ride – This will be approx. 100km in length and is designed for the experienced rider seeking a more challenging day out. The ride includes a number of short climbs.

2025 was another well-supported event, and thanks to your support, we've now raised over £25,000 for Motor Neurone Disease.
