Roland's Ride Charity Event
in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association

Roland’s Ride is a group of charity cycle rides taking place on Sunday June 8th 2025 starting from Darlington Mowden Park R.F.C. The Arena, Neasham Road, Darlington, Durham, DL2 1DL.

The Rides

Rob's Ride 25k

Rob's Ride. Formerly the Novice Ride, pays tribute to Rob Burrow's courageous fight against MND. His unwavering resilience and role as an ambassador for the MND Association have set a powerful example for others.

Social Ride – This will be approx. 50km in length and is designed primarily for the less experienced rider or those who are seeking a moderately challenging day out.
Elite 100k

Elite Ride – This will be approx. 100km in length and is designed for the experienced rider seeking a more challenging day out. The ride includes a number of short climbs.

Gallery

The 2024 event had another great turnout, and thanks to the participants' active involvement and other generous donations, we raised an additional £6,525 for Motor Neurone Disease. This brings our total to £22,320 from the last five events.
