The Dark Knight Rises with the Nissan Juke Nismo
Nissan have produced a special one-off Juke Nismo called The Dark Knight Rises. To celebrate Nissan’s partnership with Warner Bros and the release of the third film in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Trilogy, which has been released on DVD and Blu-Ray.
This one-off machine called the Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo, features a host of Batman-inspired details that will make the lucky owner the envy of every movie fan and car buff.
The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo is based on the new Juke Nismo, which goes on sale in January 2013 which features the same 200ps 1.6 litre turbo charged engine, driving the front wheels through a six speed manual gearbox – giving it a 0-62mph time of 7.8 seconds – as well as a Nismo bodykit, with uprated suspension and enhanced interior.
With addition to all this, there are a host of Batman-inspired details that will make the driver feel like Bruce Wayne.
These features include:-
- Matt black paintwork.
- Aluminum Bat logos front and rear.
- Shark Fin antenna.
- Black 18-inch Nismo alloy wheels with read detailing.
- Uplighter that projects Bat symbol on headlining.
- Downlighters in door mirrors to project Bat symbol on floor area by doors.
- Reflective Bat badges on front and rear headrests.
- Door sills with Bat logos.
The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo, has been the work of Nissan Design Europe which is based in London’s Paddington, the same studio responsible for the design of the original Juke.
You won’t be able to pick this up in any Nissan dealership, and it won’t go to the highest bidder, the only way to get hold the The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo is to enter a special competition at http://www.builttothrill.co.uk/. All you need to do is take the Thrill Test and you’re in with a chance of winner. The competition runs until February 28th 2013 and its winner will be announced early March.
Other wise the order books for the Juke Nismo open in January 2013 with deliveries for March 2013. This is the first in a range of Nismo road cars and has been designed and developed by Nissan’s Nismo performance division.
