Subaru BRZ Announce Competitive Insurance Ratings
Subaru announced the insurance groups for its new BRZ sports car range. The SE model has a group 30 insurance rating, with the SE Lux models in group 31.
The ratings are lower than a number of competitors in the sportscar class, including the Audi TT 2.0T FSI (group 34) and the Volkswagen Scirocco R (group 34). These lower insurance costs and crash safety performance are a result of Subaru using high-tensile steel and a rigid body structure and a high level of standard safety and security equipment. The BRZ also includes Subaru’s latest advanced Vehicle Dynamics Control which improves road holding, and front, side, curtain and knee airbags.
BRZ customers are also entitled to Subaru’s unique Everything Take Care of (ETCo) aftercare package, the most comprehensive in the UK, which is worth up to (£700) and is at no additional cost.
