Nissan Qashqai Adds a New Model To Its Range
The multi-award winning Nissan Qashqai range has been updated with the launch of a brand new n-tec trim plus a new Xtronic DIG-T 115 model.
The new n-tec grade will replace the Acenta Premium in the model range and its positioned between the Acenta and Tekna Grades.
This means that Nissan advanced driver and safety technologies are even more accessible and further enhances the vehicles overall value proposition with starting prices being the same as the Acenta Premium at £21,700.
On the exterior, the n-tec grade has 18-inch alloy wheels with a distinctive black diamond-cut finish. Customers can also go for the optional n-tec+ trim which includes a full-length Panoramic glassroof and roofrails for an additional £550.
Jim Wright, Managing Director at Nissan Motor GB, said: “The Qashqai continues its sales success as it delivers exactly what customers need and want in terms of design, technology, practicality and safety. With the introduction of n-tec and a new automatic DIG-T 115 petrol variant, Nissan is enhancing its value and choice offering of its record-breaking crossover even further.”
The new n-tec model comes with an array of safety, comfort and entertainment features, taking centre stage is the acclaimed Around View Monitor (AVM) – Nissan’s driving and parking aid that provides the driver with a helicopter view of the area immediately surrounding the car.
The AVM system is fully integrated into the Qashqai’s latest NissanConnect entertainment system – a collection of technologies that includes smartphone connectivity and advanced system featuring Google send to car route planning.
Other features included with the n-tec are the Nissan Intelligent Key with push-button start, front and rear parking sensors, automatic folding mirrors and an auto dimming rear view mirror.
Customers who choose the n-tec model also benefit from a comprehensive safety package. This is Nissan’s collection of Safety Shield technologies, which bring peace of mind and segment-first technologies to an even wider audience. These include Forward Emergency braking, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning and High Beam Assit.
To complete the Qashqai range enhancements, Nissan has added a new model in the form of a DIG-T 115 Xtronic featuring a six-speed automatic transmission option for the first time from Acenta upwards. The new model emits just 129g/km and returns 50.4mpg on the combined cycle and costs an additional £1,350 over the equivalent manual variants.
