Nissan New 2013 Concept Car Friend-Me at Auto Shanghai

Nissan are set to excite the Auto Shanghai 2013 with the global unveiling of their new concept car, Friend-ME on the 20th April.

The Chinese designers who worked on the design in Beijing were fully engaged in the design and development process of Friend-Me, which has features of a unique center console that allows ‘Four Seats, One Mind Connectivity” which means equal information sharing among all aboard.  The Friend-Me has been designed for a young generation in China, one of the most exciting segments in the fastest-growing automobile markets in the world.

Amongst the 20 vehicles displayed by, Nissan (China) Investment Co Ltd, together with Dongfeng Nissan Passanger Vehicle Company (DFL-PV) and Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd. (ZNA), are exciting new models such as the Nissan GT-R, Quest and Murano, also the recently launched global sedan the TEANA.

Besides the car displays, an Innovation Wall, will let visitors develop an understanding of the technologies behind the wheels, and experience the unique driving sensation that Nissan vehicles have to offer. The display will also feature a special Teana technology corner, which gives viewers an all-round view of the new luxury sedan, from driving performance to comfort and safety been highlighted.

Auto Shanghai 2013 is the first deployment of Nissan’s new global exhibit space design, for motor shows in Asia. This new design was first used this January at the North American International Auto 2013. This special booth is designed to help guests immerse themselves totally into Nissan, appealing throughout with sight, sound, touch and even smell, with a green tea-inspired ‘Nissan Fragrance”.

Look for the latest from Nissan at its more than 2,300m2 exhibit area from April 20 (press day) to 29 in Hall E3 at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center.
