Nissan At Geneva Motor Show 2013

The 2013 Geneva Motor Show marked the start of another exciting chapter in Nissan’s history.

Nissan who are driven by passion for delivering future technology today, showcased a new generation of innovative European designed, engineered and built models that will redefine standards in their sectors.

New Nissan Note

It comes with innovative design, first-in-sector technologies and an advanced engine range, the all new Note is to bring excitement to the B-segment. It has the distinctive lines of the acclaimed invitation concept car, and delivers bold looks and premium class technology with brilliant practicality.¬† The Note has also set new standards for the B-segment technology with smart features such as Nissan’s innovative Around View Monitor and Nissan Safety Shield system. The launch will take place across Europe in the Autumn.

The New LEAF

This is to take Zero emission technology to the next level, the LEAF which made its debut at Geneva has been developed and engineered for the European market and will join the Note in production at Nissan’s Sunderland facility. The new LEAF has new technologies that deliver improved real-world battery autonomy and a number of detail enhancements to make customers lives easier. Nissan have also also expanded the LEAF’s range to provide buyers with more choice on equipment, colour and price.

The Resonance Concept

Another of Nissan’s bold vision’s for the future of crossover design, created by Nissan Design America, it showcases fresh ideas and new technologies that allow drivers to fully exploit the potential of their cars. The interior was inspired by the concept of VIP space travel and its powered by an equally advanced hybrid electric drivetrain that combines ultra-efficient performance with low emissions.

Juke Nismo

The Juke Nismo captures the spirit of innovation and driving excitement that makes Nismo one of the most revered names in both motorsport and gaming. Heading Nismo’s introduction to Europe, the Juke Nismo will bring affordable performance to the crossover market, helping reinforce Nissan’s reputation of innovation in this ever growing sector. The Juke Nismo has a powerful design and race-inspired details and is powered by a 1.6 litre 200PS DIG-T turbocharged engine, that combines affordable running costs and performance.

370Z Nismo

This follows in the tracks of the Nismo Juke, this new 370Z Nismo confirms commitment to offering a broad and comprehensive Nismo road car range for European buyers. The new 370Z Nismo is equipped with a modified version of its acclaimed six-cyclinder powerplant that produces more power and torque than the original. With a modified chassis that has been reworked to deliver an even more thrilling experience, while a new exhaust system makes sure that its the fastest 370z to date and makes it sound as exciting as it looks.

2013 GT-R

The new 2013 model has a sharper performance, improved high-speed and stability with better handling, this version has set new standards for high performance motoring. The GT-R has had a number of detail improvements, which include new injectors for accurate fueling, a new turbo relief valve that delivers improved flexibility and a revised suspension set up. The result of the modifications means the 2013 model GT-R can reach 100km/h in 2.7 seconds – 0.1 seconds quicker than the previous model.

Juke n-tec

The Juke range has also expanded with the debut of the new n-tec model. Coming with more innovative technology and a striking design package, the n-tec becomes the latest advanced variant of a model that goes from strength to strength. New technical highlights include an enhanced Nissan Connect System which includes Google’s Send-To-Car-Technology and the ability to send routes to the car for forward planning. The new feature also includes complete access to Google’s points of Interest Database and also has clever navigation mapping with a larger 5.8-inch screen.
