Nismo Driver Line-Up For Le Mans 24 Hours Revealed by Nissan
The Nismo Ambassador and Super GT racer Micheal Krumm will be joining the GT Academy winners and Nismo Athletes Lucas Ordonez and Jann Mardenborough at the Le Mans 24 Hours next month.
These three drivers will unite to race a Greaves Motorsport Zytek-Nissan in the LMP2 class. There has been 22 cars entered in this class and 15 of them are powered by the Nismo-tuned Nissan VK45DE V8 engine.
The LMP2 class is expected to be one of the toughest classes this year, so its vital to have a bulletproof driver line-up.
The driver Lucas Ordonez has already proved himself at Le Mans, who took a podium finish at his first attempt in 2011 when he became the first virtual to real racer to complete in the 24 hour race.
Jann Mardenborough is also a hot contender, after narrowly missing out on a British GT title in 2012, he then moved into the FIA Formula 3 Championship this year in order to fast track his learning curve and prepare him for the challenges of racing an LMP2 car at Le Mans.
When a driver was needed to partner Lucas and Jann the first choice was Michael Krumm. A Nismo driver long standing, Michael is the perfect mentor and team mate and he has a lifelong ambition to win Le Mans.
