New Crossover Concept From Subaru To Appear At Geneva
Subaru have announced they will be unveiling there VIZIV concept at the 83rd Geneva Motor Show, which is been held on the 5th and 6th of March. This concept is representing Subaru’s future design direction and vision for technological innovation.
This future-generation crossover concept is designed to embody Subaru’s brand values of ‘Enjoyment and Peace of Mind’. The name VIZIV, has been inspired by the phrase ‘Vision for Innovation’ and expresses Subaru’s commitment to the innovation across its range of All-Wheel Drive models.
Also been shown alongside the VIZIV, is the new Forester which makes its European debut at Geneva. The Forester is due to go in sale in May, now on its fourth-generation its built on the outgoing models credentials as a capable, go anywhere and user-friendly SUV with an even better performance, safety and efficiency along with a larger, higher quality cabin.
The unique Subaru All-Wheel Drive system is still at the heart of the vehicle, which was recently awarded a maximum five-star safety rating by EuroNCAP.
Also included in the show will be the Outback, its 2.0 litre Boxer diesel engine has now been paired with a Lineartronic (CVT) transmission for the first time, which gives the car a smoother gear-shifting and improved fuel efficiency. The Outback diesel Lineartronic should be arriving in the UK by this Autumn.
