New Abarth 500 and 595 Details Announced
Two new models are been added to the new high-performance Abarth 500 and 595 ranges. Abarth have overhauled the original and highly successful Abarth 500 line-up.
To celebrate there history, the two new versions have been revealed as the 595 Turismo and the 595 Competizione. Both models come standard with a 160bhp version of the turbocharged 1.4 t-Jet engine, this offers greater choice for customers in terms of enhanced specifications.
The entry-level model will remain as the original Abarth 500, though a new colour, and extra standard equipment has been added. But the on-the-road price has been reduced. The esseesse higher performance option will continue to be available for the Abarth 500 as part of a dealer upgrade kit.
All versions will be available as a manual form or with Abarth’s MTA (Manual Transmission Automated) semi automatic gearbox.
The Abarth 500 (entry model) comes with a 1.4-litre T-Jet engine, and the features include, sport mode, 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lights, rear parking sensors, leather gear level surround and a ‘Corsa’ pack which includes Inox pedals, footrest and door kick-plates. This model is available in four pastel colours and prices for the entry model start at £13,975 for the manual version and £15,275 for the MTA version. The 500C models start at £15,875 for the manual version and £17,175 for the MTA version.
The new Abarth 595 Turismo’s main standard features are a 1.4-litre T-Jet engine 160bhp (manual and MTA), a ‘Turismo’ pack which includes Alutex pedals, footrest and door kick-plates, bespoke floor mats, machined aluminum fuel and oil filler caps, dark tinted rear windows, upgraded front and rear dampers, automatic climate control, leather upholstery, 17-inch 10 spoke Diamond finish alloy wheels, Xenon headlights, Red brake callipers, Titanium Grey front and rear sports grilles and a choice of 10 exterior colours. Prices for the Turismo range start at £17,725 for a manual version, £19,025 for the MTA version. The 500C versions start at £19,625 for the manual version and £20,925 for the MTA version.
The new Abarth 595 Competizione, main standard features include 1.4-litre T-Jet engine a Competizone pack which includes aluminium pedals, footrest and door kick-plates, bespoke floor mats, machined aluminum fuel and oil filler caps, dark tinted rear windows, upgraded front and rear dampers, cross-drilled front and rear disc brakes, Sabelt seats in fabric upholstery, Monza exhaust upgrade, 17-inch, 5-spoke Anthracite/Diamond finish alloy wheels, Xenon headlights, Red brake callipers, Titanium Grey front and rear sports grilles and it also comes in 10 exterior colours. Prices for the Competizone versions start at £18,725 for the manual version and £20,025 for the MTA version. The 500C versions start at £20,625 for the manual model and £21,925 for the MTA model.
