Best Ever Fleet Sales Results For Nissan

The strongest ever fleet sales results have been posted by Nissan, they have increased there sales of its cars and LCVs by 5 percent in 2012.

This increase in sales has meant an increase in there total market share of 0.3 percent which gives Nissan a total fleet market share of 4.8 per cent. In 2011 the total of fleet sales was 47,877 and went up to 50,990 in 2012, underpinned by a 114 percent surge in Juke sales year on year to take the crossover figure up to 10,421 fleet units sold in 2012.

Continuing to be a strong seller with fleet sales was the Qashqai reaching 27,865 fleet sales making up 50 percent of  Nissan’s total car fleet sales. The LEAF also did well in the corporate sector with its sales rising 168 per cent year on year to 582 units.

Also doing well in the LCV arena is the NV200 posting fleet sales figures of 2,796 for 2012, which is a rise of 68 per cent on 2011.

“Given the current challenging economic climate, these results are an excellent achievement,” explained Jon Pollock, Nissan’s corporate sales director.

“In 2012 Juke really came into its own while Qashqai remained a compelling proposition for fleets. Overall a strong performance that provides a platform for an even stronger 2013,” he added.
