Abarth karting competition winner

Congratulations to Daniel Watson from St Helen Auckland, who won a seat in a fully race prepared twin engine pro-kart as part of our SG Petch Abarth 2012 Open Championship competition on Facebook and Twitter.

Daniel will join other drivers in round 8 of the championship on Sunday 16th September at the Teesside Autodrome National Circuit which is superbly organised by our friends at teessidekarting.co.uk

So what can Daniel expect on the day?

The National Kart Circuit layout at Teesside AutodromeThe National Circuit forms part of the International Circuit, the largest at the Autodrome, and from the start consists of a series of sharp turns before catapulting out onto the straight, this leads into the flat out South Bank bend then into some more sharp turns through a chicane and round top bend almost flat out before starting the next lap. Sounds like great fun!

The SG Petch Abarth Kart Series uses Teesside Karting’s fleet of fully race prepared twin engine pro-karts, which are recognised as the best prepared and maintained hire karts in the United Kingdom.

Best of luck to Daniel on the day, don’t forget to bring back the trophy, and thank you to all our Facebook and Twitter followers for entering the competition and making it a bit of fun.

Our special thanks also go to Scott McNicholas for his assistance and helping promoting the competition as well as everybody who contributes to their Facebook page.

If you’d like to take part in the series please contact Teesside Karting on 01642 231117, or visit Teesside Karting for more information and the booking form.
